When I was 12 I found an old copy of Norman Vincent Peale’s book, The Power of Positive Thinking, and read it cover to cover. Even at that young age it made so much sense to me! No one I knew talked about these ideas the way he did, but I got it — life is created from our thoughts and attitude. We influence the world around us by how we think and feel. This is spiritual work!
I’ve studied spiritual teachings, meditation, energy healing, shamanic journeying, yoga, mindset and coaching. I’ve been highly supported by somatic therapies, family constellations, dance, and wise women who have sat with me in sessions and held deep space for my own growth.
To me, Life is about constantly growing and expanding, becoming more and more awake and aware on the journey. This is the key to joy.
I know what it’s like to outgrow what you’ve created and boldly follow your dreams and desires, even when it doesn’t make much sense to anyone else.
I also know what a challenge it is to wrestle with all the inner doubt and fear that arises with change, and to have to reach deep to find the courage to keep going.
Along the way I’ve deepened my faith in the goodness of Life and trust in my own capacity to face whatever is in front with an open heart. I’m grateful for this!
Each year I grow, evolve and become more me.
